Teen Boys

Soo.. Cameron has his first "Real" job, which started last weekend. He is now the Official Cleaner of The Cat Hospital. He is very motivated to do a good job, which I was pleasantly happy to watch in action... because he shows NONE of that personality at home... ;) He is enjoying the independence of having his own income, planning saving spending ~ lol! Plus, you have to love a teen boy who isn't afraid to clean a toilet and clean it well... Good job Cameron!

We went back to Seattle to see Avatar at the IMAX in 3D... I have to say--it was the way to watch this movie! It was really fun and definitely worth it! Plus, I love Seattle anyway... ;)

Leavenworth Christmas Tree Lighting 2009

We go every year to the Christmas Tree Lighting in Leavenworth. It is always the first 3 weekends in December. The whole town is decorated with lights on all of the buildings, it is very pretty and Christmas-y... This year we went the last weekend. It rained most of the day, but didn't dampen anyones spirits!

A GRAND day in Seattle for Christmas!

so what 13 year old would do this?

I am so lucky to have such a laid back teenage boy! We went to get our yearly Santa picture last week... As I was paying for the session, and Cameron was getting his photo taken, the lady asked how on earth could I get him to come in and sit for a Santa picture?? He is THIRTEEN after all! I just explained... "it is what we do". We have every year since the kids were little--he was only 9 months old for his first one and we get one every single year!
